The Dagny collection is inspired by my Norwegian roots and the sense of peace I feel when I visit my family’s cabin in Norway. Named after my grandmother, this collection reflects my personal connection to the land and the memories I’ve built there over the years.

The raw, striking cliffs of the Norwegian coastline have always captivated me, and it’s this rugged beauty that I’ve tried to capture in this collection. The two cups are each crafted from two different types of clay, creating unique, natural patterns. I’ve left the exterior unglazed, which mirrors the raw texture of the cliffs, while the interior is glazed in a dark black, matte finish, giving each piece a sense of depth and refinement.

The two cups are made from a blend of different clays: Stone is crafted from a mix of light and grey clays, and Lava features a striking mixture of red and light clay. Despite their different color combinations, the interior creates a unifying thread that ties the collection together.

The Dagny collection is a way of honoring the memories of my grandmother and the beauty of Norway. Each piece is crafted with care and attention to detail, capturing both the rawness of nature and the calm that it brings to me.
