About
Marle Studio is a small, independent ceramic studio driven by a deep passion for craftsmanship and
quality. Marle Studio was founded in 2020 by me, Marlene, a ceramic artist based in Haderslev, Denmark.
My journey with clay began in 2018 during a semester at Engelsholm Højskole, where I discovered a deep fascination with the craft and the endless possibilities that clay offers. Afterwards I took the leap to turn my passion into a full-time business, and Marle Studio was born, where each piece is handcrafted with care.
Creativity has always been a driving force in my life. I thrive in deep focus and find great joy in working with my
hands to create something unique. Nature plays a huge role in my work, and I find constant inspiration in the landscapes around me – especially the beach and the calming presence of the sea.
With Norwegian roots on my grandmother's side, I’m also deeply inspired by the rugged beauty of Norway’s
coastal cliffs and landscapes, which is reflected in some of my designs. In addition to my ceramics, I’ve recently embarked on a new adventure in furniture making and organ building, training in these crafts alongside running my studio. I’m passionate about exploring different forms of craftsmanship, and I believe that the skills I gain in one craft can enhance my approach to another.
I work from my own studio in Haderslev, where each piece is created with dedication and care. My goal is to create ceramics that bring joy and beauty into your home for many years to come.
